A Celebration of You

Greetings from Future Medicine Now!

A dear friend/chela/client recently wrote to us expressing gratitude for being in her life. We all know how impactful that can be when received from one who means it from the heart.

Contemplation of this message expands everywhere we look. It is the expression of love in motion. As you know, attention enlivens everything within our power; it enlivens everything we lend its power to. And in this moment it enlivens our appreciation of you in our lives.

You, more than any other aspect of our professional lives, give our practice meaning, value, truth. You are the reason we practice. You are the reward we receive from that practice. You are the teacher, the student, and the classroom of our practice. You are both the precious inflow and the generous outflow of our practice.

Imagine the exhilaration we experience…

• When you embrace the principles of good health through the truth of your own experience,


• When you come in having made a decision or reached a conclusion before we even needed to advocate it,

Divine Metaphor

Winter solstice is such a perfect metaphor for that exchange, this divine dance, the inflow and outflow of love. This is the time when that inimitable, life-giving solar channel, the sun, reaches its most diminished trajectory in our lives, and at the most precisely perfect moment, shifts almost imperceptibly in an oh-so-subtle, yet glorious redirection, manifesting in ascension, restoration of life, warmth, growth, expansion, and a new cycle of experience.

The perfection of this celestial movement is beyond the mind’s comprehension, and rightfully so, because it truly is an expression of divine love. The slightest shift in this orchestration would mean the end of life as we know it. Little wonder that humans, since the dawn of time, have celebrated this graced moment on our planet.

On this solstice day, thank you for dancing with us! You, and our shared experience with you, are a treasure.
