Hashimoto’s:
Bigger Than Diabetes?
Greetings!

Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is an autoimmune condition which is on the verge of being “discovered” — by those who have it, by the media, and, eventually, by medicine itself.

Sure, any doctor can tell you what it is — kinda. Do they test for it? No. Can they treat it? Ask anyone who’s got it.

I believe the number of individuals in this country with thyroid hypo-function is substantially underestimated at 27 million. The percentages seem much higher, as any astute clinician will attest. Worse is the fact that even conventional medical literature confesses that well over half of those individuals actually have Hashimoto's disease. Undiagnosed. Untreated. And headed down a very slippery slope to ill health.

Check in to my blog for a deeper glimpse into what is often the first autoimmune disorder acquired by denizens of the modern world. Unfortunately, unless they receive competent treatment, it will be followed by more serious manifestations.

Keeping up to date on issues like this will be important to those you love — you will know more than one person affected. And they probably need more help than they’re getting.

Much Love,
Larry & Sue
