Greetings from Future Medicine Now!
What a summer!
Working absurdly long hours, seven days a week has been enlightening in a number of ways. I knew from the outset that it would be a challenge to my health. I didn't realize how much would be revealed by the experience.
This crunch on my time and energy has enlarged my perspective of how my time is used. I have long promoted the use of email to keep more closely in touch with my clients — both local and non-local. What I'm noticing is a dramatic increase in the amount of time I spend personally counseling clients in this manner.
To me, this is a good thing. I think it's a highly efficient way to disseminate medical information and guidance. It's a significant perk for clients who take advantage of modern communication, and for those who live a little further away, it's indispensable.
I also see that it needs to be billed as the valuable service it is. Sue and I will now be billing for these exchanges as if they were "in office" visits. Time billing will be prorated at $100 per hour. This will allow us to continue to give as much time as necessary to conveying the necessary information you need to stay on track with your health goals, and to help you make informed choices in obtaining those goals.
An expected additional benefit to all will be more effective and focused communications between each of us.
...a long overdue discussion of pandemic diseases and their treatment with oriental medicine. If you haven't given this serious consideration, you might be in for a rude awakening in the coming weeks. We'll talk again soon.
Much Love,
Dr. Larry Horton
